We are now looking for 2 machine setters for a plastic industry in Eskilstuna. The company is expanding and needs to strengthen its organization with a technically skilled person with an interest in machines and quality. As a machine setter, you are a key person in the client's organization.

Responsibilities:

A large part of the daily work involves setting our currently 13 injection molding machines. Setting means physically changing the tool, preparing and replenishing material, starting up the machine, measuring and verifying approved parts, troubleshooting and resolving issues during stops and disturbances. Several of the machines are equipped with automation equipment such as ABB robots, vision systems, and other assembly equipment.

Another part of the job is to operate several injection molding machines by inspecting, performing simple assembly, and packing parts.

The work around the machines may involve some heavier lifting and occasionally require a high tempo, accuracy, and a sense of quality, so we believe this is a job for you who have good physical condition, are meticulous and stress-resistant, and appreciate when a lot is happening around you.

The work is scheduled in 2 shifts and one shift with constant night work. Each shift currently consists of 6-7 people.

In the long term, we see that you develop to also be responsible for starting up new articles, with regard to machine and robot programming.

Your profile:

We are looking for someone with experience working as a machine setter in some form, strongly meritorious if you have worked with injection molding.

But we are also looking for someone who is technically inclined with experience in similar jobs in the manufacturing industry or who has recently completed a post-secondary education. Someone with a background in production quality or production technology is also very interesting. If you do not have prior experience, a person with strong drive, curiosity about technology, ambition, and a broad interest and knowledge in areas such as electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and automation is a very good foundation to build upon.

Experience as a machine setter/machine repairer

Experience in injection molding

Experience in robot programming
