We are looking for a method engineer for our client in Eskilstuna within heavy industry. The department is part and service engineering with about 20 employees focusing on method and service development, technical documentation, and spare parts management for wheel loaders and components such as axles, transmissions, and engines.

This is an exciting job in an international environment with great development opportunities both professionally and personally. You will be part of an engaged team striving to deliver high-quality services and meet customer needs with cost-effective solutions.

As a Method Engineer, you will be a key person in planning and developing service and repair methods, conducting time studies, and developing special tools. You will closely collaborate with technical writers to describe the methods and publish the material in aftermarket systems. Your role also involves continuously developing and maintaining working methods as well as planning methods for aftermarket equipment and accessories. You will actively participate in new development projects focusing on service levels and customer focus.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to improve, innovate, and develop methods. You are driven by self-development and improvement work and have practical experience and machine knowledge, preferably of construction machinery. You are business-oriented, meticulous, and enjoy providing good service. You also have strong communication skills and can maintain good relationships with colleagues and customers.

We would like you to have:

• Technical education in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with heavy vehicles
• Good knowledge in communication and documentation
• Experience with CAD and PDM programs
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Meritorious with knowledge in hydraulics, electrical & electronics, axles, transmissions, and engines
