Strömsholmen AB develops, manufactures, and markets gas springs and gas-hydraulic systems for pressing tools and heavy off-road vehicles. We have been developing and refining this technology since 1983 and have been world leaders for many years with an export rate of 95 percent. Strömsholmen AB was founded in 1876 and has been based in Tranås, Småland, located between Jönköping and Linköping since its inception.

We are looking for summer staff for our workshop and assembly department. Working hours are daytime, night, or two shifts.

The following positions are available for summer staff:

• CNC operators
• Employees for the surface treatment department
• Employees for assembly
• Material handlers

In the workshop, you can work as a CNC operator in our surface treatment department. As an employee in surface treatment, you will be responsible for starting ovens, final inspection of products after surface treatment and polishing, as well as sampling of coatings and hardness. The assembly department is responsible for assembling our gas springs. A material handler supplies production staff with materials, primarily using a forklift.

It is also important that you are proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. If you are applying for the CNC operator position, it is a requirement that you have a green card. If you are interested in the material handler position, the requirement is a forklift license A2, B1, and B2. A crane license is an advantage.

You must be at least 18 years old when you start your employment (there are a few exceptions).

We will likely need you during weeks 26-28 and 31-32, but this may be adjusted slightly.
