Are you a student, retiree, or have another main occupation of at least 50% and looking for a part-time job? We are now looking for cheerful and stress-resistant individuals to work day/evening/night shifts at our client Schenker AB as Terminal Workers. The work is scheduled in the evening between 14:45-19:00, and also at night with two different shifts 00:00-06:30 and 02:45-06:30, daytime shifts may occur. We are looking for consultants who are long-term and want to stay at least until the end of the year, preferably longer.

Your working hours will be distributed by you as a consultant, making yourself available for the days you can work, and you will be booked weekly according to the client's needs.

To be employed, it is a requirement to provide proof that you have another main occupation of at least 50% such as work or studies, or have reached the age of 63 and retired. Ensure that this is stated in your CV or personal letter for you to proceed in the process. The assignment is part of our rental business, which means you will be employed by Randstad but work at one of our clients. As a consultant, you are an ambassador for Randstad and represent us in a professional manner. You are someone who easily collaborates in teams as well as works independently. Taking personal responsibility always permeates your work, and we see that you are flexible and driven with great initiative.

Responsibilities

The tasks as a terminal worker primarily involve package handling and sorting, where you work physically with your body and, if necessary, operate a forklift if you hold a forklift license. You need to be meticulous and able to read and understand where the packages should go, communicate with your colleagues, while the work is done at a high pace. It is therefore important that you meet the personal qualities listed above.

The work is scheduled Monday to Friday from 14:45-19:00, and also at night with two different shifts 00:00-06:30 and 02:45-06:30, where daytime shifts may occur. For those who are flexible, it can also be combined with night work where the working hours are 02:45-06:30.

We would like you to be able to work at least 2 shifts a week and want to stay long-term.

Qualifications

Requirements for employment:

• another main occupation of at least 50%
• fluent Swedish in spoken and written understanding
• basic knowledge of English
• complete high school diploma

Meritorious:

• forklift license TLP-10, experience with A-trucks and counterbalance forklifts
