JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will play a crucial role in providing quality care and offering pedagogical support to our residents. By helping them participate in their lives, make their own choices, and motivate them to lead an active life in society, you make a difference every day. As a support assistant, your primary task is to, in consultation with the user and with the support of the coordinating support pedagogue, plan and design individually tailored support, service, and care. We expect you to work professionally and humbly with a user focus, and that you can create a good structure and context for our users together with your colleagues. In the position of support assistant, you will work days, evenings, and weekends, which gives you the opportunity to be part of the users' lives at different times of the day and truly make a difference.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed the Child and Recreation program with a focus on social work or pedagogical work, alternatively the Health and Care program with a specialization in disabilities, or other education that the employer considers equivalent.

You should have experience and knowledge of the LSS legislation and its intentions, as well as experience working with people covered by LSS and their specific needs for special interventions.

Experience in clear pedagogical methods, aging within LSS, and other experience from a service profession is meritorious. We consider it self-evident that you have experience with a low-arousal approach and attitude.

You have personal qualities such as initiative, problem-solving, and an open mind. We also see that you have a great deal of self-awareness and understand your own strengths and areas for development in meeting other people. You find it easy to collaborate and cooperate with others.
