Your Role with Us

Customer's wishes: I am looking for a cheerful and proactive person, interested in managing the household, traveling, sunbathing, swimming, exercising, dancing, and assisting me with all daily tasks and communicating with the surroundings. Assistance means being a support in all my daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal situations, clothing care, and household management.

You will participate in training activities and public swimming where both men and women are present. Being an assistant means you are patient, stress-resistant, and attentive to what I need. To work with me, it is important that you are meticulous and punctual; as a person, you should be stable and responsible, and have good physical and mental health to keep up with all my activities. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of autism and intellectual disabilities, the TEACCH method, low-arousal approaches, or if you have some form of pedagogical education.

I am looking for someone who is punctual, responsible, flexible, and can see others' needs before their own. You need to be good at setting boundaries and following routines in a friendly and respectful manner. It is also important that you are physically active with good stamina, and that you are calm and secure in yourself. Furthermore, I would like you to be proactive and have a knack for coming up with new activities, while also being a natural leader. You should also be a non-smoker.

In addition, you need to speak fluent Swedish, as you will be a communicative support for me. You should also be able to cycle and swim, as part of the assignment involves assisting me in the water. Additionally, you need to be able to handle and cook traditional Swedish dishes with various ingredients so that I can enjoy my favorite meals.

We are now looking for 5 personal assistants for day and evening shifts. With the customer, we work with double staffing around the clock.

Who Are We Looking For?

You who are applying have a high school education as a childcare worker, nursing education, or a 3-year high school education with additional training as a personal assistant. You have experience working with people with disabilities, preferably as a personal assistant, and in some cases performing medical tasks delegated by a nurse or assisting the customer with self-care.

Since the job requires communication and documentation, we expect you to be computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. We would also like you to have experience with alternative communication such as TAKK. You can swim and cycle. A B driver's license for manual transmission is an advantage.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who has good collaboration skills, is flexible and stress-resistant. You promote a good working environment, find solutions in everyday life, and you have a professional approach. Furthermore, you have the ability to independently plan your work and make your own decisions while respecting decisions made and executing work on behalf of others.

The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. In the administration, there is also the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the aids center in Eastern Skåne.
