Do you want to work for the summer with us at Bjärefågel?

We are currently looking for employees for the following workstations:

Packing and Cutting

There is a lot happening at Bjärefågel right now, and we need to increase our workforce. We are mainly looking for seasonal employment during the summer, but there may also be opportunities for longer periods. We do not require any specific skills from applicants, but we want you to be kind, curious, and an early riser. We work from early morning until afternoon on weekdays.

Bjärefågel is located at the tip of the Bjäre Peninsula and specializes in sustainable chicken farming. In our facilities, we slaughter, cut, process, and pack our premium chicken to deliver it to our customers, who are wholesalers, stores, and restaurants.

We usually work in teams, but individual work may also occur. Together, we help each other maintain a high work pace while working carefully with knives or machines. Today, our team consists of both guys and girls of various ages and nationalities. To best integrate into the group, you need to be able to communicate in Swedish and be able to get to work without public transportation, as they do not service our workplace.

Information about the positions

Butcher

You must be at least 18 years old and not afraid to work with your body and hands. Some experience working with knives is preferred, as you will be working a lot with knives, but it is not mandatory. You will also work with machines where we lift crates. No formal education is required; the main thing is that you are curious about your job and not afraid of new challenges. You should also be prepared to help out in other workstations.

Packing Station

Here we receive, label, and pack all our customers' orders. To work here, you need to be energetic and quick, able to work with your body, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and be somewhat dexterous. If you are also a bit competitive, that’s a plus. You also need to have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Since we all belong to the same work team, you should not be afraid to help out in other workstations.

Position

Seasonal employment, 40-100%. Hourly wage. Start date from May 2026.

Application

We accept applications via email with a cover letter and CV to [email protected]. The deadline for applications is April 30, 2026. We process applications continuously, and the position may be filled earlier.
