We at Nya Coop Backaplan Saluhall are now looking for a dedicated and creative Market Hall Manager who wants to take responsibility for developing the customer's food experience and joy in-store.

About the role:

As Market Hall Manager, you are responsible for putting Nya Coop Backaplan on the map. Your focus is on customer interaction, quality, inspiration, and sales. You drive activities and initiatives that strengthen the store's food profile and contribute to high customer satisfaction (NKI). The role involves close collaboration with the store's management team and ongoing coordination with the Store Manager.

Your main responsibilities:

• Customer experience and customer offering: Ensure high-quality customer interactions and work to spread joy and inspiration about food. Responsible for the store's displays and creating a selling store with FFF (full, fresh, fronted).
• Activities and events: Plan, execute, and follow up on food activities, campaigns, and events that enhance the food experience in-store and increase NKI.
• Sales and operational planning: Work with sales planning, follow-up on KPIs and results together with the management team.
• Marketing and social media: Responsible for local marketing activities and be active in the store's social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Quality and sustainability: Ensure high quality, food safety, and sustainable practices within fresh produce and production.
• Responsibilities: You will be the leading manager of our Bistro, Bread & Bakery, as well as our manual Fish and Delicatessen counter. In these areas, you have full personnel responsibility.

Who are you:

We are looking for someone who is creative, business-driven, and has a genuine interest in food and fresh produce.

You preferably have:

• Experience in a leadership role within the grocery trade.
• Good understanding of sales, finance, and personnel planning.
• A strong customer focus and a great aesthetic sense.

Employment conditions:

• Permanent full-time employment (40 hours/week).
• Working hours vary between day, evening, and weekend.

Education:

• A minimum of high school education is required. We prefer that there is further education in, for example, economics or another relevant field.
• Leadership training.

Experience/competence:

• The position requires experience and competence in retail regarding sales and preferably in leadership.
• Documented very good experience in leading personnel.
• Documented good results in operations with own result responsibility.
• Documented experience in leading change and improvement work.
• Computer literacy regarding the Office package.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
• You are social and comfortable working with social media.
• It is highly meritorious if you have experience and knowledge in hot/cold kitchens/bakery/confectionery/Bistro/Restaurant.
