About Us

Geriatrics Sahlgrenska consists of two modules, Acute Geriatrics and Geriatrics with a rehabilitation focus. We work according to a person-centered approach. We actively work with patient safety, aiming for all frail elderly to be cared for according to a structured approach, CGA (Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment). This is to quickly identify any risks and implement countermeasures. We collaborate with other healthcare providers in the care chain, such as municipalities and primary care, and begin the patient's discharge planning within 24 hours. We are a stable workgroup with varying ages and experiences. Teamwork is fundamental to us! This is to provide our elderly patients with the best possible care and treatment.

About the Job

We are now looking for two colleagues for day and evening shifts to our fantastic team in module 21 geriatrics with a rehabilitation focus! We would love to welcome you if you enjoy working with and for patients. We prefer that you enjoy collaborating and see the team as an essential part of your work. We also want a colleague who likes structure and can work methodically with the risk assessments and care plans made to create the greatest value for the patients.

Teamwork is fundamental to us! This is to provide our elderly patients with the best possible care and treatment. In addition to working in a team with nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors, you will also closely collaborate with other professionals such as dietitians, social workers, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, all contributing to meeting the patient's needs.

About You

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with previous experience in geriatrics and rehabilitation. As a nursing assistant, you need to be flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You like to collaborate and see the team as an essential part of the work. You are empathetic and have a good approach to patients, relatives, and colleagues. Our patients are elderly and many are multi-sick, which requires stability and good judgment. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
