Who are we?

At the emergency department, we work in a large team of 120 dedicated employees from various professions. We work with what we know is most important - to contribute to our patients receiving the best possible conditions and care that always focuses on the patient's needs.

As a manager, I value the team highly, that we all help each other, and that we have fun and laugh together. My role as a manager is to provide my employees with the right conditions to do a good job and together achieve the goals we have set.

The emergency department in Varberg is open 24/7 all year round. We have approximately 44,000 visitors each year, which places high demands on our processes, and we continuously work to develop these. Here, there is broad competence and a willingness to learn and share experiences and knowledge.

About the Position

As a healthcare assistant in the emergency clinic, your work will be characterized by varied and very educational tasks. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with care and treatment of the acutely ill patient in an exciting and active environment.

For us, teamwork is important, as well as helping and supporting each other. We have a good atmosphere when we work together, and we encourage laughter. We have a work climate where everyone can ask questions, whether you are new in your role as a healthcare assistant or have worked for a longer time.

Here, you will have the opportunity for development and the chance to grow in your knowledge of pediatrics, medicine, surgery, orthopedics, and urology. You will also participate in internal training and updates within our area of operations. As a new healthcare assistant with us, you will be offered an introduction that includes an overview of the journal system, working methods, and medical technical equipment. All new employees are offered a mentor to ensure a good start in the workplace.

Working hours are scheduled for nights, with weekend duties 2 out of 5 weekends and every other weekend during the summer.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a trained healthcare assistant with a strong interest in emergency care. Experience in emergency care and specialized training in emergency care is an advantage. If you have experience with the Cosmic journal system, that is a plus.

You will encounter a broad field of work where no two days are alike. Therefore, you need to be flexible and able to adapt to the current situation.
