About Us

Ear, Nose and Throat Care (ENT) is a relatively small department with about 130 employees.

At the ENT clinic, nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, anaplastologists, dietitians, speech therapists, surgical coordinators, and medical secretaries work closely together.

Ear, Nose and Throat Care is provided at all three hospitals of Sahlgrenska University Hospital. At Sahlgrenska and Östra hospitals, there are outpatient clinics for planned and emergency care. Inpatient care is located at Sahlgrenska, and day surgery is at Mölndal and Östra hospitals. Work with us is very varied, ranging from emergency care for accidents to planned investigations and advanced surgery for patients of all ages.

We have a non-prestigious atmosphere where we all help each other and share our knowledge for the best patient care. At our clinic, we work daytime from Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities

Your main task is to assist during outpatient visits in both acute and planned care at Sahlgrenska Hospital, working alongside doctors and nurses. Sample collection, EKG, patient information, and bookings are also part of your work.

Independent clinics and assistance during outpatient surgeries may be relevant based on qualifications and interest.

About You

You should be a trained nursing assistant. If you have previously worked with outpatient care and/or Ear, Nose and Throat Care, we consider this an advantage.

You enjoy variety in your work and are confident in your professional role and in situations with acutely ill patients. As a person, you value good interactions with both colleagues and patients.
