Duration:

• Option 2: Short season: 1/6-16/8

We offer salary according to collective agreements and accommodation (for those over 18) at a favorable price.

The position involves varying working hours and a workload of 100%.

Qualifications:

• Culinary education

• At least two years of work experience in a kitchen.

Meritorious:

• Previous work in similar roles.

• Enjoy working in a team! Alone is not strong when the orders come in fast.

• Be cheerful and forward! It is important to have a sense of humor (and a bit of silliness).

• Be proactive; as a chef with us, we want you to take initiative.

• Responsible! If things get hectic, it's good to be able to show the way!

• Creative! We love great ideas that make the job more fun and the concept better!

Utö Värdshus is a well-renowned hotel and conference facility with roots dating back to the 1890s, located in the outer archipelago.

Our guests include individual hotel, hostel, or restaurant guests as well as conference groups and larger event or wedding arrangements. We are also heavily involved in the arrangements for the multisport competitions Utö Swimrun and ÖTILLÖ.

Today, Utö Värdshus consists of:

Utö Värdshus restaurant with 250 seats as well as outdoor seating and a bar, a classic archipelago restaurant where we work with Swedish flavors and a lot of locally sourced ingredients.

The Sailing Bar summer restaurant with 150 seats, grill buffet, and summer drinks, mini-golf, and a large veranda facing the harbor entrance.

The Nightclub Bakfickan, the archipelago's most popular watering hole.

Hotel and Hostel accommodating up to 250 people. Conference facilities for 2-150 people.

Utö Guest Harbor with 250 guest harbor spots, tent area, café, bar, and kiosk, bicycle rental, and a tasteful clothing and interior design store, as well as two taxi boats.
