You will be substituting during the summer and will be able to work in all three units at Vardaga: Storängen, Villa Kvarnen, and Södergården.

About the role

You are the spider in the web around the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations.

Collaboration and support

You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, group leaders, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. In this, you work closely with the group's leaders who are responsible for the care staff. Our group leaders also coach and work together with the teams in daily operations.

Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for accurate assessments and decisions.

Clear routines

To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is extensive support in the form of practical and easily applicable routines, governing documents, and checklists. Our quality management system is called Qualimax and is industry-leading.

About:

Storängen:

Storängen is a nursing home located in the Storäng area of Söderköping.

The accommodation consists of three houses: Gläntan, Tallgården, and Dalgården.

Gläntan has a total of 18 apartments, of which 8 are for permanent residence and 10 are short-term places. Tallgården has 18 apartments for permanent residence. Dalgården is located a few hundred meters away with a total of 32 apartments for permanent residence.

Södergården:

Södergården is a dementia care home in the Hageby district of Norrköping. The accommodation is located near Vrinneviskogen and has a large pleasant courtyard that is easy to access. It is built on one level and has 33 apartments intended for dementia care. All apartments have their own patio connected to the room.

Villa Kvarnen:

Villa Kvarnen is a newly built nursing home in Norrköping that opened in September 2025. Here we offer permanent accommodation with a focus on dementia patients.

Your experience and knowledge

You are a licensed nurse and we prefer that you have worked for a few years in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-sick, which requires you to have both an overview of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
