Do you want to be part of a company that values your personal and professional development? With us, it is possible!
About us We live in a changing world, and at WSP, we take responsibility for preparing society for the tough challenges we continuously face. We work with the customer in focus, and collaboration, sustainability, innovation, technology, and employee development are a natural part of our entire operation. The Community Design section is one of five sections within Transport & Infrastructure that leads the development in our society.
The Community Design section consists of about 300 colleagues at over 20 offices across the country, and we operate locally, nationally, and internationally. We work as a national section where coordination of resources, assignments, bidding work, technology development, and knowledge transfer is natural for us throughout the organization. We have all of Sweden as our playing field and build each project group according to the specific needs of the customer and assignments.
Our local presence is the foundation of our operations while we have the strength of collaboration nationally and internationally. Within Community Design, we have both depth and breadth in our competencies in landscape architecture, land and street, traffic, physical planning, environment, cultural heritage, geomatics, and project management. Please read more about our service offerings here.
We want to expand the section with more driven and competent technical managers in land and street, who want to help future-proof society with us. Your personality, competence, and ability to collaborate are important to us! We are currently looking for positions in Karlstad, Norrköping, and Linköping.
Responsibilities of the technical manager You will primarily work as a technical manager focusing on land and street. Our assignments vary in size, type, and customer category. As a technical manager, you will be responsible for preparing tender documents, construction documents, and investigations for various types of projects for our clients. You will work on developing our internal process and delivery models and on the competency development of our employees by leading them as a mentor in projects.
We work with continuous improvement and aim to constantly seek innovative ways to improve ourselves. We hope you will be a part of this!
Your profile We are primarily looking for experienced technical managers with at least five years of documented experience in land and street. You are an educated civil engineer, engineering graduate, or have equivalent industry-related work experience. We prefer that you have experience with AMA/MER, technical descriptions, and quantity lists.
As a person, we see that you enjoy working purposefully and can independently lead and drive projects. We value good communication skills and a professional approach. It is also important that you enjoy leading others, as your role will involve leading people in various assignments and serving as a mentor to your colleagues.
We work in a global corporation where we assemble teams across borders for assignments, so it is important that you are comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English.
Application deadline Selection and interviews are ongoing, but we would like to receive your application by February 28, 2026.
