Track Welder at Infranord

Infranord has been awarded the contract to perform basic maintenance of the railway facility Västra Stambanan, Hallsberg-Laxå, and Hallsberg marshalling yard starting from September 1, 2026. We are now looking for Track Welders. Location in Hallsberg.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Track Welder with us, you will be part of a team working with track welding in operational and maintenance contracts as well as new construction. Common tasks include joint welding and overlay welding, cutting, and grinding.

Our assignment sometimes requires us to be on-site quickly, which is why we primarily seek someone who lives in Hallsberg or is willing to relocate here.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education and basic training in track welding. The position requires a B driver's license and meeting medical requirements to be approved for safety service.

Meritorious:

• Further education in track welding
• Experience in track welding within railways
• C driver's license
• Authorization to operate track vehicles
• Pin welding and gas welding.
