About the position
Professionals Nord is looking for a team leader in electrical programming on behalf of Lämneå Bruk. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Lämneå Bruk for six months. The intention is that you will eventually be able to be hired directly by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

About the role
As the team leader for the electrical programming department, you will lead and plan the daily work for the team of electrical programmers, while also being operational in projects and programming yourself. You are the link between production management and daily operations, ensuring that work is carried out according to plan, with the right quality and safety. Your tasks include:

  • Planning, leading, and following up on daily work based on production planning
  • Supporting the team in programming, testing, and commissioning
  • Ensuring that routines, working methods, and safety regulations are followed and managing deviations
  • Being responsible for ongoing communication, including weekly meetings and collaboration with other departments
  • Mentoring new employees and interns
  • Identifying areas for improvement, suggesting actions, and reporting to the production manager

Flexible working hours apply during the day, and travel may occur in the job, both in Sweden and internationally.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has practical education in automation or equivalent work experience
  • Has experience with PLC, HMI, and drive technology (Siemens TIA portal, Starter)
  • Has experience in a leadership role, such as team leader or group leader
  • Has good computer skills
  • Has experience working in an industrial environment
  • Can communicate in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Has a B driver's license and access to a car

Meritorious:

  • Experience with other control systems, such as Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Beijer, or Lenze
  • Experience working with end customers
  • Experience with travel in the job
