Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Solution Developer (COBOL)

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance solutions on mainframe/zOS in a modern product team
• Contribute to the modernization of customer master data systems
• Integrate central mainframe systems with new and external platforms
• Enable real-time data exchange between mainframe and distributed systems (Kafka)
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust mainframe solutions
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners
• Participate in the entire development cycle – from analysis and design to deployment and follow-up
• Support upgrades and modernization of the mainframe environment
• Contribute to the improvement of work methods, tools, and development practices

Qualifications

• At least 9 years of experience in mainframe/zOS environments
• Very good skills in COBOL/iCOBOL, DB2/SQL, JCL, and IDz
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments
• Curious, collaborative, and change-driven
• Strong desire to use technology to solve business problems
• Modern development mindset and experience working through the entire delivery cycle
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Comfortable collaborating in both Swedish and English
