Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Security / Roles & Authorizations expert.

What you will work on

• Own and further develop the overall SAP roles and authorizations strategy
• Design, build, and maintain roles and authorization concepts across SAP landscapes (e.g. S/4HANA, IBP, Solution Manager)
• Ensure an efficient role design with consideration to SAP licensing (FUE)
• Support user administration, role assignments, and access management processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve authorization issues using tools such as SU53, ST01, STAUTHTRACE, and SAM4U
• Implement and enforce Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles
• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of documentation and remediation plans
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams, security, audit, and business stakeholders
• Act as an advisor in implementations, upgrades, and rollout activities
• Document processes, roles, and ways of working, and continuously improve existing solutions

What you bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Roles & Authorizations
• Deep understanding of SAP authorization concepts (authorization objects, roles, profiles)
• Experience working with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
• Experience with SAP GRC Access Control or equivalent solutions
• Strong knowledge of SoD principles, risk management, and compliance requirements
• Experience working with audits and regulatory requirements
• Very strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
