Your role

We are now looking for a Mechanic for the Truck Workshop in Aitik, where you will work with service and repairs of our mobile machines as well as component repairs. We operate from our workshop where we perform troubleshooting, repairs, and general mechanical maintenance, but some of the tasks will also take place in the field.

Your team

The workgroup is a positive and engaged team consisting of mechanics working within the truck workshop, tire workshop, and wash hall. It is an open and social group that values good collaboration and responsibility. We are now looking for two new stars to join our team!

The working hours are during the day, and the employment is a permanent position.

Your contribution

For the role of mechanic, we are looking for someone who has a sense of the mine's needs and a broad technical knowledge and interest. We see that you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You are also meticulous, responsible, and have initiative as well as a desire to develop and deepen your knowledge in the mechanical field.

Requirements:

  • High school education in vehicle technology or equivalent
  • Communication skills in Swedish and English
  • Driver's license for passenger car

Preferred:

  • Previous mechanical experience with heavy vehicles, tire handling, welding, machine electrical work, and hydraulic training
  • Good computer skills and knowledge/experience from the maintenance system Maximo
  • Communication skills in Finnish
