Region Uppsala is experiencing strong growth, and Property and Services play a central role in this development. The management has a turnover of over one billion kronor, employs around 400 staff, and is responsible for approximately 760,000 square meters of premises – from advanced healthcare buildings to culturally historical environments. Our largest clients are within healthcare, with the Academic Hospital being the biggest.

Our Operations

The Property Department is responsible for the management and development of Region Uppsala's properties in both owned and leased premises. In close collaboration with operations and tenants, we create and adapt facilities for advanced healthcare, culture and education, administration, and technically demanding installations. The department consists of about 20 employees with expertise in property management, technology, and specialist areas such as security and property systems. Our workplace is located on the grounds of the Academic Hospital in Uppsala. The position is organizationally placed within Property and Services and reports to the deputy property manager.

Your Mission

As a maintenance strategist, you will play a key role in coordinating and developing the strategic maintenance planning work for Region Uppsala's property portfolio. You will work closely with operations and link maintenance plans to needs, budgets, and long-term goals.

Examples of tasks:

• Coordinate and prioritize strategic maintenance
• Establish, follow up, and develop short- and long-term maintenance plans
• Analyze facility status and develop key figures
• Collaborate with technical specialists and operations
• Contribute to the development of work methods, digitization, and maintenance systems
• Develop maintenance strategy, guidelines, and methodology

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant education or equivalent experience, good knowledge of building technology and property management, as well as experience in long-term maintenance planning. You have good system skills, communicate fluently in Swedish, and hold a B driver's license.

Experience with Faciliate, Master Concept, Agresso, and working in a politically governed organization is an advantage.
