Environmental Coordinator with a Focus on Water and Sewage

Do you want to work with environmental issues that are crucial for both society and the environment? We are now looking for an Environmental Coordinator with a focus on water and sewage, where the work is an important part of our Revaq-certified operations.

The Assignment

As an Environmental Coordinator, you have a central role in coordinating and developing environmental work, primarily focusing on water and sewage operations and conducting work according to the requirements of Revaq certification. The role is both strategic and operational, which means structured and long-term work with sustainable sludge management, upstream work, and reduced environmental impact. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Depending on your expertise, the assignment may also include environmental work within the energy, waste, or recycling sectors.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Drive, coordinate, and develop environmental work within water and sewage, with a particular focus on Revaq and upstream work.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, permits, conditions, and other regulations through self-monitoring, environmental reporting, follow-up, and sampling.
• Support the organization in environmental assessments, risk analyses, and improvement work, as well as develop and revise governing documents and action plans.
• Monitor global developments and create action plans that drive the organization forward.

Who Are You?

You have a relevant university degree in environmental science, engineering, or natural sciences, or equivalent qualifications, as well as experience in environmental work – preferably within water and sewage and Revaq. You have good knowledge of environmental legislation, management systems, and relevant standards and work in a structured and analytical manner. Experience or expertise in the energy or waste sectors is an advantage. You express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish, have a B driver's license, and are an independent, collaborative, and communicative person with a strong commitment to environmental and sustainability issues.

Employment Type

This is a permanent position, and we apply a six-month probationary period.
