A nurse at Norlandia Elderly Care is a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone who is skilled in their profession and enjoys meeting people in various situations. Together with the care staff, rehabilitation team, and management, we collaborate around the resident to provide a good life every day.

The specific competence of the licensed nurse is care. This encompasses both the scientific knowledge area and the patient-centered work based on a humanistic view of people. You are responsible for ensuring that our residents' health and medical care needs are met.

As a nurse, you are responsible for and lead the nursing work. This means independently, in team collaboration, and in partnership with the resident and their relatives, being responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. An important task is also to mentor, support, and educate other care staff and be a good role model for your colleagues.

You work with care in everything you do, with great personal responsibility, and have the ability to prioritize and lead others even in changing circumstances. Flexibility and collegial cooperation are of great importance in this role.

Vedbo Elderly Home is located in Eriksborg. The facility has 98 places distributed across 4 departments. 23 of these places are dedicated to individuals with dementia.

The care staff consists of nursing assistants and caregivers. Our health and medical staff includes four nurses, an occupational therapist, and a physiotherapist.

You will be the nursing responsible nurse for a maximum of 26 patients. The nurses cover for each other and their patients as needed.

Vedbo Elderly Home is close to public transport, with a bus stop for line no. 3 within a short walking distance. A stone's throw from Vedbo, you will find both green areas and Erikslund shopping center.

• We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse

• It is an advantage if you have previous experience as a nurse in elderly care

• You need to have good knowledge of health and medical care regulations

• You must have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

• We would like you to have knowledge of documentation based on ICF and KVÅ

• We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations

Probationary period: we apply a 6-month probationary period

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
