Summer Temporary Positions for Nurses in Öckerö Municipality

Now we are soon approaching our very best time of the year. Summer in the archipelago! The municipal primary care, Social Services is looking for nurses who want to work on our wonderful islands during this time. We may be able to assist in facilitating contact regarding accommodation, if desired.

Job Responsibilities

We are a wonderful team of nurses with big hearts who find municipal primary care both exciting, stimulating, and challenging. Together with your colleagues, you will work with individuals enrolled in our municipal primary care who live in regular housing on one of our 10 islands or in one of our special accommodations. Job responsibilities also include counseling, staff supervision, and family contacts.

Are you a licensed nurse?

As a licensed nurse, the work is largely independent with responsibility for assessment, medical treatment, and follow-up. You will have close collaboration with colleagues within the unit, with other licensed professionals, and other staff members.

Qualifications/Education

If you are applying for a nursing temporary position, you must be a licensed nurse.

You have a B driver's license and are accustomed to driving a car.

Experience in municipal primary care is advantageous. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, such as the ability to plan and coordinate, good collaboration skills, independence, and flexibility.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police authority's criminal record must be presented.

Work Hours

Temporary or hourly employment for the summer of 2026. Working hours for licensed staff will primarily be scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends, but there may also be some night shifts.

Summer Agreement

Hourly employed nurses who commit by 260619 to work at least 19 shifts during the period 260619–260816 will receive an additional compensation of 175 SEK/hour beyond the regular hourly rate according to each nurse's employment contract. 19 shifts during the day/evening/weekend correspond to 10 night shifts, and it is possible to mix day/evening/weekend and night. Compensation will be paid out at the earliest the following month after the 19 shifts have been completed.
