Holmsund and Obbola are two archipelago communities with about 8,500 residents located approximately 15 km from Umeå city center. Here, there are schools with classes from 1 to 9, a swimming pool, a sports hall, and several shops. Public transport is a good option for commuting to Umeå city center, the university, or the university hospital.

The Holmsund/Obbola health center is a natural choice for residents in need of care. The health center is part of the primary care unit East, Umeå, along with Ålidhems health center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse/district nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure.

You will meet and care for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly in both planned, acute, and self-referral consultations. The work is varied, including counseling, conversations, follow-ups, and other health-promoting activities. If interested, there is also an opportunity for a specific area of responsibility. Together, we actively work to develop working methods that promote patient safety, accessibility, and a good work environment. At the health center, we also work in teams in the acute flow, referred to as the Assessment Team. Here, you will work alongside nursing assistants and doctors to best manage the acute cases that come to the health center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with further education as a district nurse or an interest in pursuing further education as a district nurse in the future. Previous experience in primary care is an advantage.

As a person, you are flexible and have good collaboration skills. You enjoy working independently and function well in teamwork. You plan your work based on the health center's mission and the day's needs, in collaboration with colleagues and other staff. You are positive about changes and development and actively contribute to a good work environment in the workplace. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
