Job Description

Are you passionate about welding, high quality, and take pride in well-executed work? Then this could be the job for you! We are now looking for a TIG welder for the value stream Fabrication at GKN Aerospace in Trollhättan, where we manufacture complex titanium parts and high-volume products in Inconel. The primary task is to complete weld seams after robotic welding and repairs after NDT, but flexibility towards other tasks may also be required. We are looking for someone who values high quality in their work, is driven, and enjoys working in a team to achieve weekly goals. Quality and maintaining pace are of great focus.

Qualifications

• 3-year high school education with a technical focus
• Experience in sheet metal processing and deburring
• Several years of experience in TIG welding in Titanium or Inconel

Personal Attributes:

• Service-oriented with a strong focus on quality
• Structured and organized with a desire to work on improvement initiatives
• Easy to collaborate and create networks
• LEAN experience is an advantage

Assignment

Working hours, various shift forms may occur.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where GKN's customer has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
