Welcome with your application! We are looking for a Property Caretaker for our Property Department, Technical and Leisure Administration, Värnamo Municipality.

Responsibilities

The work as a property caretaker is independent and takes place in close collaboration with colleagues, coordinators, and area managers. You will be part of a smaller team responsible for several properties. Together, we create the best possible conditions for our tenants and the operations within the municipality. The buildings include schools, preschools, nursing homes, and administrative buildings. You are responsible for planning and organizing your work as well as maintaining contact with tenants and contractors.

• Corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of technology in our buildings.
• Preventive work in and around our buildings in the form of rounds and inspections.
• Receive and execute fault reports and customer orders.
• Contact with contractors, ordering, and implementation.

You may work with control and regulation via EBO, various service tasks, systematic fire protection work, inspection of play equipment, and fire alarms, etc. The position also includes service to our operations with various tasks. As part of the job, it is required that you are prepared to participate in On-call service, which is compensated according to agreement and established conditions.

Qualifications

Other good qualities include being responsible, structured, and good at collaborating. Some parts of your work will be digital, so good computer skills are required. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of electrical installations, HVAC systems, ventilation, and control and regulation technology or have previously worked in a similar position. A B driver's license (manual) is required.

The Technical and Leisure Administration is responsible for the municipality's technical and leisure activities. The administration consists of the units Property, Leisure, Street/Park, and Water and Sewage (VA), as well as a staff for administration. Property manages the construction and maintenance of the municipality's premises, Leisure is responsible for leisure facilities and support to associations, Street/Park manages streets, roads, and parks, while VA is responsible for drinking water and wastewater.
