Property Manager at Vetlanda Municipality

Are you proactive, self-driven, and able to get things done? As a property manager, you ensure that things happen. You develop and assist our operations, ranging from schools and nursing homes to swimming pools.

At the technical office, we are responsible for a wide range of areas, including property, street-park, development, and planning. The property department is responsible for new construction and renovation of our municipal properties, such as preschools, schools, elderly care buildings, and sports facilities.

We manage, maintain, and operate the municipality's buildings, totaling approximately 220,000 square meters of space.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you good at structuring your work? With us, you have a job with a lot of freedom and personal responsibility to plan your work effectively.

As a property manager, no two days are the same. You work variably with many different tasks that require you to be flexible and good at solving problems. You primarily work with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, but you are also there when more urgent issues arise, such as elevator or drainage stoppages.

Are you helpful and service-oriented? Interactions with citizens and users, as well as collaboration with colleagues and external parties, are a significant part of the job.

We expect you to have knowledge of electricity, ventilation technology, and plumbing. It is highly meritorious if you have some form of electrical authorization.

Your tasks include:

• supervision, service, and repair of ventilation, plumbing, control and regulation technology, and alarm systems
• roof work in the form of supervision and maintenance as well as corrective maintenance for minor faults
• external property maintenance of buildings
• internal property maintenance, such as doors, windows, and locks
• participating in authority inspections, such as fire, property, and safety, as well as actions following these
• participating in the planning of new construction and renovation
• some green space maintenance

The position is a permanent position and is full-time. You primarily work during the day, but planned on-call duty may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• 3-year upper secondary education with a technical focus
• work experience in electricity, ventilation, heating and cooling, fire alarms, and control and regulation technology
• very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• driver's license B
• an extract from the criminal record

It is meritorious if you have:

• electrical authorization
• driver's license BE
• forklift/loader license
• hot work
• fall protection
• mobile working platforms
