Your role:

As a control room operator, you hold a key position in the Renström mine. Your mission is to create and coordinate sustainable weekly and shift plans for mining operations with a focus on high safety and productivity. You work in the control room where you coordinate workgroups and play a central role in emergencies as well as being responsible for monitoring the perimeter security. Through your work, you contribute to the business achieving its goals and functioning effectively.

We offer a 12-month temporary position starting as soon as possible by agreement.

Your team:

You will be part of an engaged team with four colleagues who together drive the work forward. The work is shift-based, which means that you take turns being responsible for production and ensuring that everything works as it should. Shifts run every other week, from Tuesday to Monday, alternating between morning and afternoon.

Your tasks:

• Responsible for planning and preparing activity plans for mining operations, in line with both short- and long-term goals.
• Follow-up on ongoing activities, prioritize efforts, and adjust planning in the event of unforeseen events.
• Analysis of deviations and working to develop effective working methods.
• Preparation and compilation of production reports.

Your contribution:

To thrive in this role, you need to enjoy juggling multiple tasks and quickly prioritize among them. You are structured, focused, and have good communication skills. We also see that you are curious, ask questions, and have an analytical mindset that helps you follow up on results and solve problems. To succeed in the role, you also need to have strong collaboration and coordination skills.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Fluent in Swedish and good knowledge of English
• Good computer skills
• Driving license B

Meritorious:

• Experience from a similar role, for example in operations, logistics, or alarm center.
• Experience from the mining industry
