Digital solutions and innovations are an important part of meeting tomorrow's challenges in healthcare, and Region Västerbotten is at the forefront of this. Currently, five operations are included in this area, and we are present throughout the county with operations at all three hospitals in Västerbotten. Internal Service in Umeå is a unit within Region Västerbotten's Digitalization and Service organization, offering service tasks in the area of cleaning. Within the base unit of Internal Service, we have approximately 217 employees in the county, of which over 100 are found in the cleaning department in Umeå. The cleaning operation is responsible for all cleaning within the Region, carried out according to established guidelines. In the role of cleaner, employees are responsible for reducing the risk of infection spread and contribute to enhancing the well-being of Västerbotten residents and employees who are in our premises. The work also helps maintain the value of the premises and enables systematic quality controls.

We are now looking for more colleagues who want to work part-time with us in cleaning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a cleaner with us, you provide important service and enable efforts that affect many. In your role, you are responsible for reducing the spread of infection and enhancing the well-being of Västerbotten residents and employees who are in our premises.

We are looking for someone who wants to work professionally with the latest cleaning methods in a hospital environment. As a cleaner, you will primarily work with regular cleaning, but other tasks may also occur, such as sorting waste. You are responsible for ensuring that your work is carried out according to applicable instructions with high quality and self-control.

Your placement will be in cleaning, but you may be loaned to other operations within Internal Service in Umeå based on needs. Working hours are varied, with evening and shift work possible, as well as work on weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in cleaning is advantageous, as is having a cleaning education and computer skills. If you can also operate combination scrubbers, polishers, and other relevant machines in the cleaning profession, that is an additional merit.

The work involves many contact points in a hospital environment, and there are high demands for being service-oriented and flexible. In your work, you take personal responsibility and have the ability to organize and prioritize your work, as well as collaborate with other colleagues.

Being able to speak, read, and write in Swedish is necessary to understand and use cleaning instructions. Swedish D or equivalent skills are a requirement.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
