We are now looking for three engaged park workers for summer jobs!

You will be part of the Park Unit within the Street Department, where we work together to maintain and develop the municipality's parks, green spaces, and street environments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to help take care of our grass areas, plantings, and beautify our public spaces. Through your work, you contribute to making our parks and outdoor environments inviting and well-maintained for both residents and visitors.

Tasks include mowing, trimming grass, hedge trimming, mulching, tree pruning, cutting back perennials and roses, planting, fertilizing, weeding, watering, cleaning, and supervising fountains and other facilities.

The work is varied and creative, where no day is the same and where collaboration and joy at work go hand in hand as we create pleasant and green environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We expect that you have knowledge and interest in the field and that you are a driven, initiative-taking, and creative person who sees opportunities while being attentive. It is also important that you find it easy to collaborate with others, as much of the work is done together in the workgroup.

You need to enjoy working physically outdoors. The work sometimes takes place in uneven terrain and may involve heavy lifting, which requires good physical condition and health. A B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, are required for the position. It is an advantage if you have a chainsaw license and a driving license for a loader or lift truck, but it is not a requirement.
