Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Automation Systems Test & Commissioning Engineer

What you will work on

• Develop and implement industrial automation and factory control systems
• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC control logic and communication interfaces
• Design, configure, and integrate HMI/SCADA systems with process and quality data
• Capture and clarify technical requirements together with customers and project teams
• Specify and verify interfaces to automation networks and fieldbus systems (TCP/IP, Modbus, PROFIBUS, PROFINET)
• Define test strategies, scopes, test cases, and acceptance criteria
• Execute system testing, validation, and acceptance including FAT and SAT
• Provide global technical support during commissioning and service phases
• Prepare and maintain engineering and test documentation, interface specifications, and HMI user guides
• Collaborate with internal automation teams and external vendors on system integration solutions

What you bring

• University degree or equivalent experience in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
• Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems
• Solid knowledge of industrial communication protocols and fieldbus networks
• Proven experience with commissioning activities and FAT/SAT in production or process environments
• Experience working with complex automation systems and system integration projects
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with strong documentation skills
• Ability to work in international, customer-facing, and cross-functional project environments
• Willingness to travel for commissioning and service activities
• Fluent English communication skills
