Social Services

The Social Services, one of four departments in the municipality, has embarked on a significant transformation journey. We are examining our organization, work culture, and structure to ensure the best possible delivery to our citizens. Approximately 150 residents receive daily support within the special accommodations. A job in Lomma Municipality is part of a whole, and together we will develop the operations. We offer a challenging and varied assignment in a role that is of great importance to our elderly citizens. Strandängsgatan has 3 departments with 43 user apartments and 2 short-term places. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will have close collaboration with colleagues throughout the building and in all work teams, as well as with coordinators, elderly educators, and our nurses.

In the role of nursing assistant, you will, among other things, provide care and support to users according to implementation plans, provide ongoing supervision, create security and meaningfulness, and participation for our residents, as well as follow action plans. Medication administration is included, based on the user's individual needs and wishes. Your work also includes service tasks in the operations and for the users.

You are expected to have a good overview of the department so that it looks professional and clean for users and colleagues, e.g., turning on lights and raising blinds in the common areas in the morning.

We work with the L.E.I.F method and use the digital tool Lifecare Activity Planning, which is a signing tool on mobile for all interventions to be performed for users or the operations. You will be involved and have the opportunity to influence how the planning of your work is scheduled during Team Time with your department.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a protected title from the National Board of Health and Welfare. This is a requirement.

You are quality and service-oriented and have experience handling medical technical equipment. You find it easy to collaborate, are flexible, and have an open mind. In your work, you are engaged, unpretentious, brave, and feel secure working alone in a department and want to help colleagues across boundaries when needed and are used to collaborating with other professionals and relatives.

To thrive with us, it is important that you want to work with the elderly and value and respect their last chapter in life. Empathy, curiosity, and the ability to see the bigger picture are also significant qualities. If you also have a good sense of humor and enjoy trying new paths, then you are the one we are looking for. Experience from work in elderly care is meritorious. You should be able to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Good computer skills and the ability to work with various systems and digital tools are necessary in daily work. We work with national quality registers and would like you to have knowledge of these.
