Your role with us

As a care staff member, your job includes providing individual care and service to tenants in a way that makes each person feel seen, unique, and involved. The work is carried out in interdisciplinary collaboration with the operations manager, occupational therapists, nurses, physiotherapists, and kitchen staff. It also includes performing health and medical tasks according to delegation and instructions. An important part of the job is to actively participate in the overall care required for tenants to achieve a good quality of life based on their individual conditions and to be involved in cultural activities.

We are now looking for summer substitutes during the summer months of June, July, and August.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has completed a care program or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. We want you to have experience working in care and support. If you have training in psychiatry or dementia diseases, it is an advantage. Since communication and documentation are part of your duties, you need to be familiar with documentation and computers and be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You promote a good working environment and find solutions in everyday life. As a person, you have the ability to work with others; to listen, show empathy and respect, and to be unpretentious while recognizing and rewarding others' contributions. You can motivate and inspire and have a professional demeanor towards everyone you meet in your work. Furthermore, you have the ability to independently plan and structure your work while respecting decisions made. We want you to be meticulous, engaged, and responsible in the work you perform.

Tätörtvägen operates as a self-managing unit, which means increased responsibility with greater influence and shorter decision-making paths. We are a care and nursing home focused on dementia, with 36 apartments.

Tätörtsvägen is certified in dementia care - Star Marked and is included in the White Guide Senior, where we won the title of Sweden's best senior meal in 2022. The workplace has a strong cultural foundation where music permeates the operations.

The care administration's operations target the elderly and individuals who need functional support, as well as those in need of home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
