Your mission

As a property caretaker/technician with us, no day is the same; new tasks and challenges arise almost daily. You will be responsible for addressing maintenance requests, working with ongoing daily maintenance in combination with troubleshooting and improvement work on our properties. Supervision, rounds, and maintenance of ventilation systems, heating systems, and heat pumps, as well as other problem-solving of the properties' technical systems, are a large part of the job. You will be responsible for conducting workplace safety rounds. Be involved and assist during month-end and relocations. Also, participate in energy optimization and projects related to the properties.

Your main responsibilities:

• Corrective maintenance
• Preventive and planned maintenance management
• Changing filters and general supervision of ventilation and heating systems.
• Rounds of common areas
• Problem-solving of the property's technical systems and/or functions, such as indoor climate, heating, and ventilation.
• Assist with pre-inspections, relocations, key & tag management.
• Other tasks within the area of responsibility

We are currently a team of 6 people who work closely together. This allows us to help each other across city borders at times. The team consists of property technicians, rental agents, and property managers.

In Oskarshamn, there are currently 26 properties with a total of 520 apartments.

Who are we looking for?

You are a handy person with training in property technology or a couple of years of experience in similar work. You easily build good relationships and are a social and service-oriented person. Furthermore, you have a good economic understanding and are cost-conscious, important to work towards the region's overall results and financial goals. You are a problem solver with good analytical skills who can easily take initiatives and work independently. It is an advantage if you have a technical background in Construction, HVAC, or Electrical, as many tasks relate to these areas. The position requires you to hold a B driver's license.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications and experiences:

• Education in property technology, at least at the high school level but preferably from a vocational training or university
• Experience in the property industry and property technology is required
• Knowledge of the property program Vitec is an advantage
• Good knowledge of IT & Office package
• Good Swedish and English in both speech and writing (additional languages are considered an advantage)
• B driver's license
