About the position

We are looking for a rental agent for a fixed-term assignment of 6 months starting immediately, based at our office in Eskilstuna. In this role, you will be responsible for renting out our apartments in Eskilstuna as well as in Västerås, Karlstad, and Nyköping.

At Sveafastigheter, customer satisfaction and rental are in focus, and you will belong to an engaged team along with other colleagues in the region.

The role includes fast-paced work with a lot of customer contact. You will work with everything from marketing, first contact with customers to contract signing, and ensure that other administrative parts are taken care of. You will closely collaborate with property managers, other rental agents in the company, our rental administration, and our property technicians.

Examples of tasks:

  • Responsible for contact with existing and potential tenants and ensuring that the rental process works efficiently.

  • Strategic work to ensure that our apartments are rented out on time and to the right tenant.

  • Conduct pre-inspections, showings, manage rental agreements, and reconcile payments.

  • Administer and update the marketplace HomeQ and property systems Vitec rental and Vitec technical management.

  • Independently market our apartments and actively engage potential tenants and the existing housing queue for each area.

Who are we looking for?

If you are sales-driven, self-motivated, and enjoy the real estate industry, you will fit well in this role. You have a business sense and a natural drive to create value and good solutions for your customers. You focus on the customer's needs and act quickly and efficiently based on that.

Personal qualities are very important in the selection for this position, and the formal requirements are:

  • Education in economics or equivalent at the high school level

  • Experience in sales and/or customer service

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office

  • Driver's license B

  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English (both spoken and written). If you can also communicate in additional languages, we see it as a great plus.

Do you have a few years of experience in the real estate industry, preferably as a rental agent? We consider that a strong merit! Experience as an assistant property manager or from a similar role is also advantageous.
