The radiation therapy department in Umeå is part of the Cancer Center, where about thirty people work with the planning and implementation of radiation therapy. Our catchment area is the northern region in collaboration with the radiation therapy department in Sundsvall. We provide high-quality treatments with short lead times. We have good collaboration between different professions in the cancer patient's care chain. We have a positive atmosphere at the workplace, and you who are applying enjoy teamwork.

We are looking for summer substitutes for our operations. The recruitment process is ongoing during the advertisement period.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Radiation Assistant with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure. Your task will be to work together with the regular radiation therapy staff to provide patients with optimal radiation treatment and high-quality care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is currently studying in the Radiography program or the Medical Physics program.

You should be interested in both care and technology. You should have good collaboration skills and be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing.
