Sales Representative at Lantmännen in Northern Sweden

Do you have a strong commitment to Swedish agriculture and want to work in a role where you can combine consulting, business acumen, and long-term customer relationships? We are now looking for a relationship-building and solution-oriented Sales Representative to join our team in Northern Sweden, covering the areas around Bollnäs, Hudiksvall, and Härnösand.

Agriculture is the heart of Lantmännen's unique value chain from field to fork, a business that forms the foundation of our broad group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the development of agriculture while growing alongside a knowledgeable and supportive team.

Your Responsibilities

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the sale of feed and inputs, as well as the purchase of grain from farmers in the region. You will have an advisory and business-oriented role where you meet the customer's needs with a holistic view and knowledge. You will often be out with customers, analyzing growing conditions, market conditions, and the customer's specific production goals to create tailored solutions.

You will be a sounding board for both short-term and long-term decisions and follow up on business throughout the seasons. Through your work, you contribute to creating both sustainability and profitability – for the customer and for Lantmännen. The role involves a significant degree of independence in planning your daily activities, but you are also part of a team where we collaborate closely, follow up on goals together, and support each other in developing marketing efforts and customer relationships.

Location and Reporting

The position is flexible in the areas around Bollnäs, Hudiksvall, and Härnösand. You will report to the Regional Manager for the North.

You Have

  • Post-secondary education in agriculture, e.g., as an agronomist, farm manager, or agricultural technician, or equivalent experience in feed, crop production, or consulting
  • Good understanding of the conditions and challenges of agriculture.
  • Preferably experience in sales, consulting, or another business-driven role within the green sector.
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish, preferably also in English.
  • Driver's license (B) and access to a personal vehicle.

  • Responsive and service-minded, with a solution-oriented and structured approach in your consulting.
  • Engaged in the customer's business and have a holistic view of the customer's production and profitability.
  • Accustomed to working independently and making your own decisions, but also see the value in sharing knowledge and collaborating in a team.
  • Driven to create value, take responsibility, and make an impact.
