Environmental Worker/Waste Collection Driver (Staffanstorp)

Ohlssons was founded in 1998 in Landskrona and currently has approximately 850 employees, operating in about 50 municipalities across Sweden with a turnover of over 1.5 billion. The company assists municipalities and businesses with services in waste management, sludge and water supply, recycling, transport, and contracting. The group also includes Puls – Planned Maintenance Service AB, Soreto Services AB, Exellent Syd AB, ÖMAB, and Tintorella Fastigheter AB.

About the Position

Ohlssons continues to grow and we are now strengthening our operations further. We have recently won a new waste management contract for Kävlinge municipality that extends until 2033. Therefore, we are looking for about ten environmental workers/waste collection drivers to join our team. In this role, you will have a varied daily routine in the field, with meaningful work that contributes to a sustainable future.

Your tasks mainly consist of collecting household waste according to scheduled routes with our rear-loading trucks (3-compartment and 4-compartment vehicles). It is important that you are meticulous so that all containers are emptied, and that you take responsibility for ensuring that the work is carried out in a safe and secure manner. You are an important ambassador for Ohlssons, where you meet many customers, so it is essential that you have a positive attitude and enjoy providing good service.

We are looking for someone who has:

• C driver's license.
• Valid YKB (professional driver certificate).
• Experience in the driving profession, preferably with experience in the waste management industry.
• Basic IT skills.
• Good communication skills in Swedish.
• Local knowledge of the region is an advantage.
