JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In home care and in special accommodations for the elderly, tasks include assisting with personal care, such as hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meals. The work also includes practical tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping. Social support is an important part of the job, through conversations, companionship, and creating security in everyday life. The work also involves collaborating with colleagues, following implementation plans, and noticing changes in the health and well-being of the elderly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A B driver's license is required for work in home care, as the job involves traveling between clients.
• Certification as a nursing assistant is an advantage.
• Previous experience in care and support is desirable.
