About the RoleAs a water and wastewater engineer at Luleå Port, you will have a broad and developing assignment. You will become the asset owner for the port's water and wastewater systems and work with strategic planning, operation, and maintenance. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to contribute to other technical areas, such as project management and digitalization. The role is new and gives you a great opportunity to influence how we expand the port.
You will be part of the technical department, where we are responsible for infrastructure, projects, and maintenance. With us, you will be part of a competent and engaged team where we value collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a balance between work and leisure.
Main ResponsibilitiesTake asset ownership of the port's water and wastewater facilities, including treatment plants and pipeline networks, and be responsible for and lead the work of developing, updating, and quality assuring facility documentation.
Lead and participate in investigations and projects within the water and wastewater area and other technical systems.
Follow up, evaluate, and document the status of existing facilities and identify needs for improvements and investments.
Develop and coordinate self-monitoring programs for water and wastewater facilities.
Participate in the optimization and upgrading of treatment plants based on regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the port's long-term maintenance and investment planning.
Participate in digitalization initiatives and technical development projects.
Together with colleagues from other departments, prepare documentation for service agreements with Luleå Port's water and wastewater customers.
University degree in water, process technology, or another relevant technical field.
Good IT skills and interest in digitalization.
Ability to work systematically and independently as well as collaboratively with others.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Driving license B
Experience in project management.
Experience with self-monitoring programs.
Interest in environmental monitoring and strategic work.
