The teaching profession is the most fun job in the world! At Arlandagymnasiet, approximately 1300 students study. We have 11 high school programs, both national and specially designed, and can therefore offer several different educational paths and individual choices.

Our annual evaluations show that students and staff are very happy at our school. Skilled teachers and the bright and airy premises of the high school contribute to this. Not to mention the good climate that exists among the students.

Arlandagymnasiet is one of the few high schools that offers vocational training in aircraft maintenance. We have both apprenticeship and school-based education in our premises located in Knowledge House in Märsta and in the SAS hangar at Arlanda Airside. Our education is conducted in close collaboration with the aircraft maintenance industry. We are now taking the next step.

Sigtuna municipality has been granted permission to start a vocational college program for aircraft technicians at Arlanda airport. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work as a teacher in the vocational college program for aircraft technicians. Consultant, part-time, or full-time, anything can be part of our puzzle to establish a Part-147 training program for aircraft technicians on short notice before the start in August 2026.

Your responsibilities include developing lecture materials, work cards, or assignments for various modules in the training, as well as preparing materials and exam questions in collaboration with colleagues. You will work closely with colleagues and build on existing operations to develop something new and exciting!

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with documented experience from vocational education in the field of aircraft maintenance. If you have good knowledge of regulations Part-66 and Part-147, it is an advantage. It is important that you have good digital competence so that you can easily learn to master the digital tools we use in the training. You have strong theoretical and practical knowledge in aircraft maintenance and are skilled at conveying this knowledge in a communicative, clear, and structured manner. You need to be proactive and resourceful and be used to taking the lead and bringing projects to completion.

You are reliable and solution-focused. In your work, you follow a clear process, organize and plan your work well, complete what you have started, and meet deadlines.

We see good relationships as a crucial success factor and therefore seek someone who has a natural ability to build and maintain strong and trusting contacts with both students and colleagues. You are collaborative, attentive, and communicate clearly. With an unpretentious focus on common goals, you enjoy working together with colleagues to tackle challenges and create the best possible conditions for the students.
