Simulator Specialist at ATCC Stockholm

Training (TRG) manages all operational training and competency assurance for ATCC Stockholm. A significant part of the training activities takes place in our simulator, including student training and competency assurance. In light of the upcoming airspace changes, a large training effort will be carried out, and due to the substantial training needs we foresee, we need to strengthen the organization with additional simulator expertise.

We are now looking for someone with previous experience as a simulator specialist who wants to work again in LFV's simulator at ATCC Stockholm.

Job Description

As a simulator specialist, you will work closely with other simulator managers as well as course leaders and competency assurance officers. You will primarily act as the simulator manager during exercises, but also as ROW during simulations and, if necessary, assist with game production, correcting games (sim exercises), and more.

As a person, you are flexible, meticulous, and structured in your work approach. You are motivated and responsible and have an easy time collaborating and communicating with relevant parties.

Qualifications

• You have worked as a simulator specialist at ATCC Stockholm.
• You have knowledge of ATCC Stockholm's airspace and good knowledge of TopSky.
• You are computer literate and feel comfortable working with various software, primarily Excel and Word.

Meritorious

• You hold or have held a local authorization at ATCC Stockholm.

Additional Information

The position is a part-time (intermittent) employment with LFV. Start date is negotiable but no earlier than April 2026. Our needs vary throughout the year to be almost non-existent during the summer months. We apply both office hours and shift work in our simulator. Before employment, LFV conducts a security review, which includes a background check, security interview, and drug test.
