Streets and Parks plan, build, develop, and manage the municipality's public outdoor environments.

This includes streets and squares, parks, and green areas. We work to ensure that the city is well-maintained, beautiful, safe, and accessible - all for a well-functioning and pleasant everyday life for all residents of the municipality.

Your Responsibilities

As a park worker with us, you will work both independently and together with colleagues in the team. Your tasks consist of daily care and maintenance of parks and green areas, for example:

• mowing and maintaining green areas
• maintenance of gravel paths, flower beds, and playgrounds
• cleaning and tidying
• other related tasks that belong to the operation

Your work also includes taking responsibility for the machines, vehicles, and equipment you use in your daily work.

About You

With us, the most important thing is that you are an engaged and responsible employee who enjoys collaborating and contributing to a good working atmosphere. You have a strong sense of service and the ability to plan and structure your work, both independently and together with others.

We are primarily looking for someone with gardening education or other relevant training, alternatively practical experience in landscaping, maintenance, and care, such as work as a park worker. If you feel that you have limited experience but want to learn the profession – you are warmly welcome to apply!

We place great importance on personal qualities and how you contribute as a colleague. A B driver's license is desirable but not a requirement.

Other Information

Seasonal employment with varying employment periods from May to October. Working hours are scheduled during the day but may also involve evening and weekend work.

Employment type: Seasonal work/Full-time. Please indicate in your application which period you can work.

Start date: Earliest May 1 with varying employment periods of 3 to 6 months
