Terminal Workers Needed on an As-Needed Basis

We need to strengthen our team and are now looking for terminal workers on an as-needed basis at Ljungby/Bergvägen 1 and 3. As a terminal worker, you will be responsible for picking goods according to orders, packing goods, replenishment, returns handling, and managing any product damages, as well as working with the intake and outtake of goods. We have tasks that involve forklift driving, but also other tasks where you do not operate a forklift.

As a terminal worker, you will report to the Production Manager for the assignment in the relevant department.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and understands instructions
• Is over 18 years old*
• Has a high school education or equivalent work experience
• Can handle handheld computers
• Is quality-conscious and used to working towards set goals
• Has a good work ethic and contributes to a positive work environment
• Is comfortable working varying hours, as shift work is included in our operations. Daytime as well as evening shifts, both weekdays and weekends.

It is an advantage if you have a forklift license A and B with driving experience, as well as experience in warehouse operations.*The requirement for applicants to be at least 18 years old is based on the Work Environment Act (1977:1160) Chapter 2, Section 1 and Chapter 3, Section 2, as well as AFS 2012:3 regarding minors' work environment (Sections 8–14), since the tasks involve forklift driving, heavy lifting, and handling security-classified goods. This is a legitimate requirement according to the Discrimination Act (2008:567, Chapter 2, Section 2 a).
