Southern Småland Waste and Environment (SSAM) is a municipal cooperation organization responsible for waste management in five owner municipalities in Småland: Markaryd, Lessebo, Tingsryd, Älmhult, and Växjö. SSAM has a strong vision of creating a sustainable Småland where all materials are reused or recycled efficiently.

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible waste collection driver for our client SSAM in Älmhult. In the role of bin truck driver, you will work in the field where you will meet customers daily, collect waste, and empty bins in recycling areas. A manual B driver's license and tail lift training are required for the position. The employment is for the summer period, from week 23 to 28.

Your tasks will also include the following

• Delivery and placement of new bins for customers
• Changing subscriptions and retrieving bins
• Replacing broken equipment
• Distributing food bags
• Collecting latrine bins
• Assembling, disassembling, and cleaning bins.

You are a person who enjoys working outdoors and collaborating with others. This role suits you if you possess a strong work ethic and great attention to detail. You should have a friendly customer approach and a positive attitude. You should be organized, responsible, and able to work independently. You are used to taking your own initiatives and thrive on juggling multiple tasks! Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A manual B driver's license and tail lift training are required for the position.
