The Distribution Center in Älmhult, together with other units in Sweden, operates the largest warehousing operation in Sweden. Our mission is to receive goods from hundreds of suppliers and then deliver the goods on time, with the highest possible quality, at the lowest possible cost to our IKEA stores throughout southern Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

To thrive in this role, you need:
• 1-3 years of experience in leading employees
• Experience working through others, setting priorities, delegating responsibilities, and providing open and honest feedback.
• You are results-oriented
• Good knowledge/experience of retail and/or logistics processes.
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good knowledge of English
• Good experience with various leadership styles and can adapt based on different situations and needs.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

In the role of Fulfilment & Replenishment Operations Team Leader at DC Älmhult, you will be responsible for both operations and employees. This means leading, coaching, and developing our employees in accordance with IKEA's personnel idea and values. Your tasks include ensuring that the work in the department progresses and functions as efficiently as possible. You will have direct personnel responsibility for about 15 employees.
Personnel responsibility means you are responsible for communication to the team, development discussions, time reporting, rehabilitation processes, and recruitment. As a team leader, you will be part of a management line consisting of 10 team leaders.
You are also responsible for achieving set goals and KPIs for your work group, as well as ensuring that the work environment is safe and secure within your area of responsibility.

This is a permanent position at 100% (38 hours/week). This is a flexible position that involves working both early mornings and late evenings, as well as some weekends according to a rolling 6-week schedule.
