In preparation for summer 2026, we are now looking for park workers who want to help make our green environments beautiful, welcoming, and full of summer vibes. This is the job for you who enjoys being outdoors, likes to move around, and appreciates an active workday where you can truly see the results of what you do.

YOUR ROLE

As a park worker, you will be part of a team that takes care of the municipality's parks, green areas, and facilities. You will work with tasks such as mowing, watering, planting, weeding, and other activities that contribute to making Skellefteå feel summery and well-maintained. It is a varied job where you will spend plenty of time outdoors in the fresh air, and where both sun and rain become a natural part of your workday. It suits you who prefer to be active and enjoy practical tasks where you can take your own initiatives.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 16:00.

The areas are divided into the following

• Central - South
• East - Ursviken/Skelleftehamn
• Northwest - Boliden/Jörn

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors and feels comfortable in all kinds of summer weather, and who wants an active everyday life with plenty of movement. You are responsible, punctual, and contribute to a good atmosphere in the workgroup. You communicate fluently in Swedish or English and have a willingness to learn. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in gardening or park work, but it is not a requirement.

In the job, you and your colleagues will need to travel between different locations, so we prefer that you are 18 years old and have a B driver's license, manual transmission. If you are 17 years old and have an AM license, you are also warmly welcome to apply; we may need you if it turns out that too few with a B driver's license are interested in working with us.
