About the Position

We are currently seeking foundry workers to start immediately!

The position is long-term and is a temp-to-perm recruitment through Montico, where the right candidate will be offered direct employment with the client company after a period of temporary work.

The working hours are scheduled shift work with morning and afternoon shifts.

Job Description

In your role as a foundry worker, you will operate a foundry machine and follow the process that includes several different work steps.

Your tasks will consist of handling die-cast components in the form of metal breaking, stamping, blasting, measuring according to control instructions, and process monitoring.

The work is performed in a warm industrial environment and can be repetitive at times, which requires good physical condition and endurance.

You will work independently at your foundry machine while having close access to colleagues for collaboration and support when needed. The role suits you if you enjoy practical work and an active pace in an industrial setting.

You will continuously work to ensure high quality in production and always prioritize safety for yourself and your colleagues.

We are looking for someone who

Has basic knowledge of foundry technology and a strong mechanical interest.
Understands the defects that can occur in the processes of casting and machining.
Has good knowledge in restoring design surfaces regarding casting and cutting tools.
Can work effectively in a team while also delivering results independently.
Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

Meritorious:

Forklift/hoist training.
