JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The service unit's task is to manage the operations of cleaning and serving kitchens in our school activities as well as municipal operations and facilities.

As a cleaner, you work closely with the customer on daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and floor care in the municipality's premises. The work is done both individually and in groups. Movement between different workplaces may occur.

Your tasks within cleaning include daily cleaning of schools, preschools, and other municipal premises. You are responsible for cleaning floors, sanitary facilities, classrooms, and common areas, as well as ensuring that hygiene articles are replenished and waste is handled according to applicable routines. The work requires you to follow established cleaning schedules and use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.

In the kitchen and serving part, you work on preparing and serving meals to children and students. You receive and check food deliveries, handle special diets according to instructions, and ensure that kitchen areas are kept clean and hygienic. Dishwashing and cleaning of equipment are also part of the daily work. You collaborate closely with kitchen staff and educators to ensure that meals are served in a safe and service-oriented manner.

The work requires that you have good communication skills in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as being service-oriented and having an easy time collaborating. You need to be able to take your own initiatives, solve problems, and contribute to a positive work environment. A B driver's license and access to a car are also required, as work may occur at several different units.

You are employed in the department with a temporary placement at Fågelmara School & Preschool, and work at other locations is a natural part of the daily work.

The role also includes work in the department's serving kitchen, and you need to have knowledge of food hygiene.

The department is undergoing a change process, so we are looking for someone who is positive, curious, and wants to contribute to developing our working methods.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A B driver's license and access to a car are required.
• Ability to communicate well in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Educational requirement SRY or documented knowledge and experience of cleaning for at least 3 years.
• Good digital skills, especially meritorious if you have worked with more digital systems for cleaning.
• Experience from kitchen/serving is an advantage.
