Regardless of which summer job you apply for with us, we offer an educational, fun, and independent work environment where you can test your theoretical knowledge in practice. You will have a lot of responsibility, but you will always have access to guidance from experienced colleagues. Your interest in forestry, nature, and meeting other people is central to all areas. Södra has a large geographical spread, and we are looking for summer substitutes for our entire operational area. The positions we are looking for summer workers for are:

Follow-up Officer Your tasks as a Follow-up Officer consist largely of fieldwork where you will seek out and inventory results. The work also involves collaboration with various positions within Södra such as Forestry Managers, Advisors, and Production Managers. The role of Follow-up Officer is a unique opportunity to practice collaboration and coaching of contractors and machine operators.

Forest Owner Support The Forest Owner Support team works to provide our members with quick and professional assistance. Here you provide personal service in everything from forestry questions to membership matters and ensure that our members receive the right help on time. Your tasks include answering questions about forestry, ownership changes, membership accounts, and annual statements.

Transport Manager / Logistician Your tasks involve planning and leading our transports through continuous dialogue with our hauliers and receiving locations. You will also work closely with Advisors, Production Managers, and other colleagues within Södra to ensure that logistics run smoothly.

Production Manager As a Production Manager, you are responsible for planning, managing, and following up on timber flows and ensuring the quality of logging. You coach and collaborate closely with Södra's contractors, as well as with Advisors, Transport Managers, and other specialists within Södra.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are studying a field related to forestry or logistics, or have equivalent knowledge or experience. Regardless of which summer job you apply for with us, the work requires a genuine interest in forestry operations, the ability to work independently, take initiative, and enjoy close collaboration with others. It is also important that you can communicate clearly and enjoy meeting other people in a business relationship. For all positions, a driver's license and access to your own car are required.

Placement

The placement will be at one of Södra's offices; here is a list of our offices and addresses. Mörrum, Värö, and Södra's headquarters in Växjö are not included in the list but are also possible placement locations.
